Every Batch. Every Time.
Independent third-party testing is not optional at Viora Bio — it is the baseline.
Our quality assurance programme is built around a single principle: no batch reaches a researcher until it has been independently verified by an accredited external laboratory. Internal QC is a starting point, not a finish line.
Analytical Methods
HPLC Analysis
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography
HPLC is our primary purity assay. Each batch is run against a reference standard to confirm identity and quantify purity. We require a minimum 99.0% area purity before a batch is approved for release.
What it confirms
- Peptide purity ≥99%
- Absence of synthesis by-products
- Correct retention time vs. reference standard
Mass Spectrometry
ESI-MS / MALDI-TOF
Mass spectrometry confirms molecular identity by verifying the exact molecular weight of the synthesised compound against the theoretical value. A mass match within ±0.5 Da is required for release.
What it confirms
- Correct molecular weight
- Sequence confirmation
- Detection of truncated or modified sequences
Amino Acid Analysis
Amino Acid Composition Analysis
For selected compounds, amino acid analysis provides an orthogonal confirmation of sequence composition, independent of chromatographic methods.
What it confirms
- Correct amino acid ratios
- Absence of substitution errors
- Orthogonal identity confirmation
Endotoxin Testing
LAL Endotoxin Assay
Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) testing screens for bacterial endotoxin contamination. All injectable-grade research compounds are tested to <1 EU/mg.
What it confirms
- Endotoxin levels <1 EU/mg
- Absence of bacterial contamination
- Suitability for in vivo research models
Accredited Laboratories
All third-party testing is conducted by ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories. Accreditation numbers are included on every CoA so researchers can independently verify the testing laboratory's credentials.
